Please accept this invitation to join the Bethany Home team.  We are currently seeking candidates for a 3rd shift CNA position.

​

Our team provides compassionate care to elderly people who need assistance in managing their health care needs. We provide several levels of care from independent living to nursing care, skilled nursing care and memory care.  These opportunities are in the nursing care and memory care units.

​

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the highest quality of care, with kindness and compassion, to each resident

  • Provide personal care and supervision to residents according to their individual care plan

  • Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and repositioning

  • Monitor vital signs 

  • Report observations or changes to the charge nurse

  • Follow proper infection control guidelines and PPE usage

  • Maintain current certification by attending and participating in training and education classes including monthly online in-services

 

Requirements:

  • Current Iowa nursing assistant certification

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion

  • Schedule availability to work every other weekend and holiday

  • Pre-employment background check, physical and TB test 

  • Experience working in long term care a plus but on required
     

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10:00 pm-6:00 am including working every other weekend and holiday

  • Starting wage: $19.10; plus pay for related experience

  • $2.00 per hour shift differential

  • Incentive pay for picking up additional hours
